Ryan Barcy

Ryan is a New York City pianist with more than 12 years of performance experience, from private events in California to engagements in Boston and New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Boston College, where he maintained a 4.0 GPA in the major and received the Kennedy Award for Excellence in the Academic Study of Music. He has also opened for multi-platinum recording artist Aminé. Trained in jazz piano and improvisation, Ryan plays with an emphasis on taste, spontaneity, and a strong sense of the room. His repertoire moves fluidly between jazz standards, contemporary music, and improvisation, shaped to suit the particular character of cocktail lounges, hotel bars, restaurants, and private events.
